A Letter of
Complaint
Imagine that you've been feeling poorly and have taken some medicine to help you get better.
Imagine that instead of making you better (doing what it said on the bottle)
the medicine has actually done something unexpected to you. Perhaps the
medicine has made you bigger or smaller. Maybe the medicine has changed you
into something else, do you now have super powers?
What you
have to do is write a letter of complaint to the people who made the medicine. Make
sure that you tell them what has happened to you. Tell them what things you now
find difficult because of the effects of the medicine (you could also mention anything
that you find easier!). Tell them exactly what you want them to do about the
situation and why.
Remember to
set out your letter correctly!

ReplyDeleteI had a cold and took some medicine to make me feel better. The medicine I took was Sudafed. I carefully followed the instructions on how to take the medicine. It says that 6 to 12 year olds are allowed to take one teaspoonful of medicine every 4 to 6 hours. I am 9 years old so I took exactly one teaspoonful but I am feeling very drowsy even though it says the medicine does not cause drowsiness.
Because I was feeling drowsy I was not able to write or read my favourite books. I felt like a roller-coaster going round and round.
I am angry that the medicine made me drowsy when it was not supposed to. Luckily, I went to see my doctor and he gave me another medicine to make me feel better.
Please stop selling this medicine because I don't want other people to be unwell.

Dear Mary,
Sorry for making such complain, but the medicine you gave me did not make me better at all. Instated it made me WORSE.
I took the medicine 2 times a day for a week and when I woke up on Saturday I was 94! I am old and now I can’t walk, eat, hear or see properly because of this medicine. The only good thing is that I sleep more. I want to be 14 years old as it is horrible to be 94 when I am actually 14.
What tests do you have to do to change me back? Will I need a body test or an x-ray? Please write back and tell me what I need to be prepared for, and do it as soon as possible.
As it’s not my fault that you gave me the wrong medicine, I expect the new one will be free.

ReplyDeleteI have turned into a red fox and I do not know how to get back into my normal self! I can't have breakfast because I have paws... So l have to eat my breakfast the fox way. I try to dress up properly but every time I do my buttons they come up the wrong way. My friends say that I look like the guy from " What Does The Fox Say?" I am so speechless, embarrassed and disgraced by look of it! I want you to use the right ingredients in the medicine so this does not happen again and also talk to your manager because he should be the one blamed. I hope this stops and I could recover to myself again.

ReplyDeleteI am writing to inform you that this medicine has now made me fly i am a bit grateful of this unusual effect but it stops me riding to school and i really like riding to school it keeps me having fun even though i'm going to school. But it's very hard to sit down i just keep floating upwards.but it helps me in pe when we have to do skipping.The next time i ask for medicine it must not have special stuff inside i will be checking.

I am writing to you about some medicine I bought a couple of days ago. What it says on the label - that it should help ease the pain when I coughed. But instead it shrunk me to about the size of an atom! This has affected me a lot, because now I can’t play football, I can’t do karate and I won’t be able to do the talent show auditions, because nobody can see me and the worst part... I CANT USE THE COMPUTER! The coaches at my clubs must be thinking that I’m just being lazy and watching TV or something! Although there are some advantages, like I can hide super easy when I’m playing hide and seek, but there is still a disadvantage with that, because nobody can ever find me and it’s no fun! Any way I would like a full refund and some sort of cure to this wacky medicine.

ReplyDeleteI am writing to you to tell what the medicine done to me. First we bought the medicine and I went home and opened the pack and the medicine was spilled all over the bag. Then I took a spoonful of that slimy orange medicine and put it in my mouth it taste disgusting so I was about to vomit. Suddenly I started to shrink and shrink then I was tiny as a mouse. I climbed up the table leg and drank it again and then I grew tall as the mountain Everest.
When I tried so hard to get to my normal size finally I got to my normal size. But there was still a problem my sickness never cured. We came again but we was worried if they are going to give me the wrong medicine .I was very panicky but they gave use the medicine and we went home and checked it out but it made me fat then in two min it made me slime. I felt dizzy so I went to bed so she sat beside me until I woke up then I felt better when I slept .Then I didn’t need to have that medicine again! So please don’t do this same mistake with others please.

ReplyDeleteI am writing this letter because when I drank the medicine I got well quickly but something strange happened to me. My body started to glow and I could turn in to anything I want. I could turn in to an animal,a dinosaur,a cartoon charter and anything I want to.
I could have superpowers and do anything with them. I can go to different places. I can make myself bigger and smaller. I can run as fast as lighting. I want you to make a medicine can make you well really quickly

ReplyDeleteWho ever made this medicine it is really not good, and i am not really happy because it has turned me into a frog! when I try to play football my kicks are really weak and i am not as fast as i used to be.And everyone try's to kick me of the pitch.
The good thing about it is,when I play hide and seek nobody can find me because i am really small what i am trying to say is i can hide in small play's.
I want you to call an other docter and see if thay can do something about it.

ReplyDeleteYou have made a medicine called Benylin has made me into an orangutan! Now I can’t eat burgers, chips, fish, chicken, biscuits, chocolate, toast, baked beans, pizza , lots more except banana’s but it has helped to swing on trees become more healthy which I don’t like to be, climb on trees and lots more things. Also it gave me superpowers to use telekinesis, shoot lightning bolts out of my hands but people are going to burst into laughter like it’s some hilarious joke from a clown because they will think why is there some hairy orangutan shooting lightning bolts out his hands?
Now I need you to make me back into a human without any superpowers and no more brown hair!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteYou have now made my life worse by giving that weird medicine. I have shrunk . People even flick me around the world . I even got kicked to the Sahara desert . I'm now feeling ashamed and fed up . Life use to be easier than now . I can't even pick up a pen .
Are you a qualified doctor , and is there a cure to this situation .
I was 1m 62cm .Are you any use . I wonder what happened to the other patients . Is this a joke ?

I was feeling so poorly that my mum and dad had to bring me really special medicine.They gave it to me so can get better and go to school again,after i drink it...something really unusual happend to me.My face was green and purple i had ears like an elf and my legs were hairy and i had big legs like a giant.then my mum and dad shouted'' AAAAAAA''!They said what happend to Teodora she is so ugly we have to tell that crazy doctor why?is my child so ugly and discussting like MR STINK and she also smells horrible.The doctor said''hahahahaha''i am the doctor that tricks people all the time and give the kids poison medicine so they turn in to monsters forever mum and dad said''NO''!

But the very good thing is that I am very strong and I can face my fears and not be scared of everything. And please make a cure for this everyone is getting scared of me and when you make a medicine put a label so you now what it does.

I am writing this letter to you to complain about your medicine. i have turned into a cat, now that i am a cat i cant brush my teeth anymore, i can not wash my hands and i cant eat hot food now because of my tongue. i want you to make a medicine that will turn me back!!!
