We have just finished our unit play scripts . For homework this week I would like you to write the first scene of a play script.
Choose 2 characters and imagine that your 2 characters have just found a magic jewel. Write some dialogue between the 2 characters.
Remember to include, stage direction, character name:, brackets and punctuation.
Only write the first scene of your play script, as we would like other children to comment and write your second scene.
We are looking forward to reading your scripts.

On a sunny Sunday after church Jason knocks on Julie's door and they decided to go for a walk in the forest.
Jason : Hello, do you fancy going for a walk in the forest?
Julie: Sure! We may find some interesting things there.
So they set of for a walk in the forest. They walked for half an hour when they saw a cave.
John: What could be in this peculiar cave?
Julie: I don't know, let's find out.
So they walked into the deep dark cave and found something unusual.
John: What is that bright ,shiny thing under that big, gigantic rock?
Julie: Let's take a peek to see what it could be.
They rolled the rock to the corner. And they realised it was a magic jewel.
John: It's a magic jewel, I wonder what it could do.....................

DeleteJohn: Oh, lets take it to the Museum!
Julie:(excited)What a good idea!
(They take it to the museum)
Both: Another mission complete!!!

The magic ruby necklace: part 1
ReplyDeleteDyllan : [In an annoyed way] ‘’Come on Kyle!’’ ‘’We are going to be late for school again, if you keep telling everyone the story of the magic ruby necklace in you’re attic!’’ ‘’Besides, it’s not real.’’
Kyle : [Angrily] ’’Hey, the magic thingy necklace is real and I’ll prove it after school and if you don’t show up I’ll bring it to school tomorrow.’’
Dyllan : [Eagerly] ‘’Oh, I’ll be there only to prove you wrong!’’
11 Hours later:
Dyllan : [Knocks on Kyle’s door] ‘’I told you I’ll be here.’’
Kyle : [In an evil voice] ‘’Good, I was about to come looking for you.’’
Dyllan : ‘’Uh, what’s up with your voice?’’ ‘’You sound like count Dracula, dude.’’
Kyle : [coughing] ‘’I just have a really bad cold. It’s really getting on my nerves.’’ ‘’It started when I found the necklace in my attic .’’
Dyllan : ‘’Oh.’’ [Comes in Kyle’s house]

Jessie:I wish that the hole can make it self bigger
