Numeracy 18.4.13

Number detectives!!!

For your homework this week we would like to challenge your mathematical vocabulary and skills. Your task is to create a number of clues to test your teacher.

E.g. I am thinking of a number...
*that is less than 100
*it is a 2 digit number
*both digits are odd
*it is in the 11 times table
*it is more than 20
*it is between 60 and 80

What number am I...?      77

Now its your turn! Come up with two challenges and see if your teacher can solve them.
P.S. Keep the answer a secret, good luck!

    3. Akhil, if each digit has to be odd then it would have to be in the 570's. None of the following are divisible by 11: 571, 573, 575, 577, 579. Can you help me out a little? Are you sure all the digits are odd?
