Shadows Shadows Shadows

 In science we are learning about light and shadows. We carried out an investigate to find out what happens to our shadows are different times of the day.

Do you know why this happens?

First we had to make sure we were facing north using a compass! Then we waited (a long time!) for the sun to come out. Quickly we drew around each others' shadows and measured them using a metre stick!!! It was tricky at first but we got the hang of it by 3:00pm once we had done it 4 times that day!!!

We had to make sure we were facing north each time. We used a compass to check!
