Playground Planters

This term Class 1J is going to look after two of the playground planters.Mr Jackson, our gardener, has prepared the soil and got it ready for planting.We already had some strawberries growing in one of them ,so we decided to plant vegetables in there.We were surprised at the different sizes and colours of the seeds.
We planted flowers in the other one.
Everyone took turns to put the seeds in the soil.We then had to give them lots of water to start them growing.
We covered the planters with netting to protect the plants until they are bigger.
