Our Plants

We have had a great time this term planting lots of plants outside our classroom.The potatoes are growing very well and one plant has already started to make the flowers.Once these flowers have died we know the potatoes are ready to be dug up.We hope this will be before the summer holidays.

Last week we planted our tomatoes in two grow bags.We have to water them every day and check to see if they too have made flowers.These flowers will then become delicious tomatoes.

We also hope that the weather will be sunny as the light and warmth will help the plants to grow.

All this planting helps us learn about where our food comes from and we are looking forward to tasting them very soon.
